Meet Your Farmer:

What areas of the cattle industry is your farm involved in?

Horse Creek Farms is a pioneer sentry farm in Chuckey Tennessee. We are a dairy farm that has diversified into an agri-tourism venue that specializes in ag education. This spring we are opening a Creamery on our farm and Lord willing will be processing our own milk in the next two years. 

Are you involved in any leadership organizations?

I am involved with Tennessee young farmers and ranchers. I am the vice chair for our district. I am the chairman for our counties June dairy days hosted every June. I am a former board member of the Tennessee Dairy Alliance. I am on the Tennessee Farm Bureau Dairy commodity committee. I am a member of Tennessee Agri tourism Association as well as a NAFDMA.

Is there anything you would like people to know about you?

I graduated summa cum laude from Walter State Community College with an Associates Degree in Agriculture. I also completed this degree program while being a single mom. In June I won top five for the Tennessee Farm Bureau Young Farmers & Ranchers Achievement Award contest.
