Meet Your Farmer:

What areas of the cattle industry is your farm involved in?

Holt Farms is a seedstock Black Angus operation in Overton County, TN. We raise bulls that are marketed through the Genetic Excellence Angus Bull Sale, and females that we market through private treaty and consignment sales across the southeast. We also offer donor housing for Green River Embryo Transfer and multiple recipient cow options. In addition, we are also USDA certified to sell beef off our farm and are part of the Pick TN Product program.  

Are you involved in anything outside the farm?

It is very important to me to stay involved in our community, and like to do so by volunteering to help wherever I can whether that be through the church, schools, or agricultural organizations. 

Do you have a job off the farm?

My husband, Levi, and I own Green River Embryo Transfer, a veterinary practice that focuses on advanced reproductive technologies in cattle.
