Meet Your Farmer:

What areas in the cattle industry is your farm involved in?

We are Brangus and Ultrablack seedstock producers in Puryear, TN. We sell bulls to commercial cattlemen, show heifers to youth exhibitors and market semen and embryos both domestically and internationally. As the starting point in the beef supply chain, we utilize all resources and technologies available to us to help produce a premium beef product for consumers. 

Are you involved in any leadership organizations?

I am currently involved in the following leadership organizations; International Brangus Breeders Foundation Board of Directors, International Brangus Breeders Association (IBBA) Breed Improvement Committee, IBBA Long Range Strategic Planning Committee, Tennessee Farm Bureau, and the Tennessee Forestry Association. I am also a past president of the International Brangus Breeders Association. 

Do you have a job off the farm?

Both my husband and I work off farm for Middleton Lumber Company - my family's 4th generation hardwood lumber business.
