Meet Your Farmer:

What areas of the cattle industry is your farm involved in?

Acres of Grace Farms is a multi-generational diversified farm located in Clay County, Tennessee. Our primary focus on the production agriculture side is beef cattle, where we have both commercial cattle and a pure bred Akaushi herd. We also raise row crops that support the livestock operation. We also have an agritourism venue where we host multiple events throughout the year, including barn sales, farm to table dinners, and farm tours.

What is an intresting fact about yourself?

I have written a children's book called Where Oh Where Does the Yellow Corn Grow. The book acts as an educational tool to educate children on where the corn they eat comes from.

DO you work off the farm?

Our family has been blessed to provide jobs in our community for the past 50 years. They range from jobs rooted in the forest product industry to home building. I still work in our family of businesses, and each have our individual roles in the businesses and mine focuses around human resources and marketing specifically. My brother, mother and husband all have other roles as well.  I also own and operate a boutique, The Mill Storehouse located in Algood, Tennessee.

IS there anything you would like people to know about you?

I would like people to know that I love my community, our family of businesses, the farm and sharing our passion with others. I get a lot of satisfaction our of hosting events and being involved in sharing our passion for agriculture.
